Cancer Fitness Classes

Cancer Fitness CIC provide a free physical activity programme for people living with cancer in Southend. Our classes focus on strength, cardio, balance, range of movement, stretching and relaxation. Our experienced team provide clear guidance on how to exercise safely so that you can feel physically and mentally better, while having fun.

Cancer Fitness CIC are funded by Essex Community Foundation and Sport England. 

We offer Cancer Fitness Classes at Wellbeing at Garon Park SS2 4FA (Monday 5-6pm), Earls Hall Baptist Church SS0 0RJ (Tuesday 9-10am), Hockley Public Hall (Friday 10.30-11.15am).

We also run Restorative Yoga & Relaxation at St Laurence Church SS2 6UH on a Monday at 10.30am. Bring a partner/friend for £8.

Who can use this service?

Our exercise classes are available to any patient over 18 who has a cancer diagnosis. They are free from diagnosis up until a year post treatment or indefinitely if incurable or metastic. (after that a voluntary donation of £8 is suggested )
