MODS is Southend Mencap’s Operatic and Dramatic Society. It is a weekly drama group for adults with learning disabilities, offering members the chance to build confidence, learn performance skills, work with others and take part in annual shows in a supported environment.

MODS Drama Group supports adults with learning disabilities to take part in drama, performance and group-based creative activity. Members are supported by staff and volunteers to learn parts, build confidence, develop self-expression and take part in performances. There is a cost of £3 a session. Due to popularity, there may be a waiting list.
