BOSP: Family Advocate
This free, holistic service can help support parents and carers of children and young people with SEND, in the early years and with transition into school or adult services. BOSP's friendly Family Advocate can help support you with: advice and signposting, liaising with professionals, obtaining personal budgets, requesting a Carers Needs Assessment, improving links with social care, speech & language, education, transport, specialist equipment, accessing BOSP’s Skills 4 Life Weekday Daytime programme and other community services, helping you fill the gaps when your young person leaves full-time education.
