Age Concern Southend Dementia Day Centre.
Age Concern Southend runs a Dementia Day Centre that gives people the opportunity to maximise their cognition, independence , and wellbeing, in addition to reducing social isolation. We incorporate well used interventions such as reality orientation, reminiscence work and multi-sensory approaches alongside fun and meaningful activities. There is a cost for this service.

- Our purpose built facility , located with 'The Community Hub' in Hamlet Court Road, Westcliff has capacity for 14 clients each day, Monday to Friday. We welcome referrals from any source.
- A full day is 10am to 4.00pm, costing £70 and a half day is 10am-1pm or 1pm-4pm, costing £40. Lunch can be provided for an additional £5. We offer a free half day trial session so we can assess a clients needs and see what activities they would enjoy.

Who can use this service?
Anyone with a diagnosis of dementia that is mild to moderate.
